By all accounts this was one of the best days MTBing I have had in a while. There is something about taking 7 college students to place that you have never been before and trying to act as if you know where in the HELL you are going! If you look at all the pics you will come across the one of us gingerly walking across a creek. Though this looks harmless enough...the bottom was covered with moss and made this like walking on ICE and then the current was strong enough to actually move the bikes down stream. I was sure one us (MEL) would be riding WET for the remainder of the ride. No such look but one of the students did mention that while he was MTBing here a few weeks ago two guys came around the corner from the other side of the creek, hopped off the rock, into the creek and rode across with out so much as a bobble. Ummm rather impressive
