Conference at Kiawah

I am lucky enough to visit Kiawah twice this winter. This past weekend for a conference and early December for the Kiawah half marathon. I stayed with colleagues Stephanie and Joy in a upgraded 4 bedroom vila on the beach. We had a great weekend full of riding, running, walks on the beach, and a little work.

Halloween Weekend

We had a great visit with the Wood's. 5K in the morning, trick or treating in Blowing Rock (with Magnum PI), and the cx race Sunday in Seven Devils!

Jefferson State Park

This beautiful area is only 10 minutes from our backdoor! A must see on a Weddell visit!

Moving Day

I will admit the dogs were of little help! At least the rain stayed away.

Cyclocross & Camping

Sean's first cyclocross race. Thank Forkner for the machine gun kits! Sean was able to meet Johanson in Tsali to camp for a night and mnt bike. A good thing he brought extra gear since Sean had a broken tent, a 50 year old sleeping bag, and little food. This is what happens when your camping gear is in storage and you rummage another person's garage.

House Closing

We close on our new home Thursday at 11am. We are extremely excited and will post pix soon! Of course, everyone is welcome at our home in the mountains!
