Keep the Rubber Side Down
While riding in Boone Sean had an unfortunate encounter with the pavement. Heading into Banner Elk on HWY 194 at 40mph down hill his back wheel locked up. The result was major road rash, sparks flying from the bike, and another kit ripped. Luckily, he walked away. I've never seen road rash with such colorful bruising. He had to get a new bike replacement, although not necessarily from this accident. He's had a rough Spring, but is convinced the new bike will not see any pavement time. We're now in Indiana for the summer. Will keep you updated on racing.

Oh man, Jon went down for the first time ever in one of the POA races and it was BAD!!! Worse than any rod rash I've ever had. Glad Sean is OK and got a new bike.
