Rain and more Rain

Last weekend we raced in Columbia, SC. It rained, then rained some more. The women's races got the downpours more than any other groups. I was freezing! The fields were small so I can't say my 7th and 6th place finishes were steller, but I won money nonetheless. Poor Sean went down Saturday in a corner during his race. Although it should not have done harm in the wet conditions, he hit patch work that tore him up. We spent the week of Spring break in the Boro recovery and enjoying the Spring weather. Only 6 more weeks of school to go!

Sunny Days

Finally, we had a nice weekend! We traveled to South Carolina for the final week of the spring series and stayed on the farm. It was great to see Molly, although the spring grass has been a little too kind to her belly. I hopped on the chicken ride Saturday morning and jumped horses in the afternoon. It was a great day, although my legs were angry! Sean and I both raced on Sunday at the BMW track. Although the sun was out, the Spring winds blew us around. We had a great time catching up with friends and racing. Next week is Spring break and we are undecided on our plans. Racing in Columbia, SC this weekend. Until next time...
